As 1978 grinds to a close it's worth reiterating what Sound International — just eight issues old - is all about. Our aim to provide a reference point in an industry chockablock with myth, misinformation and meretriciousness is reaching fruition with every magazine that leaves the presses. Our overall policy to demystify all aspects of sound, whether we be playing or recording music, or both, continues unabated — take as examples the Copy Guitar Test and Making Studios Pay in this issue. And hopefully you'll continue to use the magazine to the full - that means reading and writing. Our pages are yours, your needs are ours. SI enters 1979 with confidence and anticipation - there's plenty in store.
